PURPOSE:To prevent to exceed the speed limit by a method wherein a speed alarm is sounded by a generator connected to a speed meter for the preventing device for exceeding speed limit and an accelerator pedal is pulled back by a cylinder connected to a suction pipe through a solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION:When a speed selecting push-button switch, conforming to a speed shown in a speed mark, is pushed, an indicating lamp is put on. When the speed of the car is exceeding the indicated speed, an alarm buzzer and an alarm lamp are put on intermittently by the generating voltage of the generator 26 for detecting the speed. In this case, if the car runs under the alarmed condition without slowing down the speed, the solenoid valve 7 is operated by the operation of a timer relay, therefore, the suction force in the suction pipe 9 of the engine is transmitted to a vacuum cylinder 6 and the pressure in the cylinder is reduced. Accordingly, a piston 24 is moved into left-and-right direction, a connecting rod 25 and the accelerator pedal 3 are pulled back by a piston rod 5 and an accelerator wire 4 is shifted to the restoring direction thereof thereby reducing the speed of the car. |
