摘要 PURPOSE:To automatically detect a cylindrical object without contacting with the object at a high speed by forming an image of the inside of the cylindrical object on a photoelectric conversion part through a wide angle lens and comparing the pattern of its electric signal with a standard pattern. CONSTITUTION:An image of the inside of a cylindrical object 12 to be detected is formed on a photoelectric conversion part 6 through a wide angle lens 5. A control signal from an operating part 18 is supplied to the photoelectric conversion part through a scanning part 9 and pattern information is generated from the photoelectric conversion part 6. The information is converted into a series signal by a parallel to series converting part 7 and stored in a storing part 24 through an amplifier 8 and a receiving part 23. The stored pattern information is read out by the operating part 18 and compared with a standard pattern from an ROM19. If the operated result is included in the tolerance limits a correct signal is sent through an interface part 17 and, when the result exceeds the tolerance limits, an error signal is sent 30. Consequently the pattern is automatically detected without contacting with the object at a high speed.
