Powder nozzle for a cutting torch, which nozzle is sleeve- shaped and designed to surround the cutting nozzle 1 belonging to the cutting torch. The powder nozzle contains a ring-shaped powder distributing chamber 16 designed to receive a powder and air mixture and distribute it over a number of powder feed holes 8 leading from said chamber to the front edge of the powder nozzle. The feed holes 8 are directed at a slant towards the flames 3, 6 of the cutting nozzle and situated at the same mutual distance. The powder distributing chamber 16 is formed between an outer ring-shaped element 11 and an inner cylindrical portion 9 of one of said nozzle parts 7 and the front nozzle part 7 is provided with drilled powder feed holes 8. The inner portion 9 of the one nozzle part 7 is hinged to the other nozzle part 15 for tight clamping of the ring-shaped element 11 between the two parts 7, 15 of the nozzle. <IMAGE> |
