PURPOSE:To obtain a cast Cu alloy for a metallic mold for molding having superior castability, strength and surface homogeneity by adding specified amounts of Be, Al, Co and Si to Cu while satisfying specified relation between he Be and Al contents. CONSTITUTION:The composition of a cast Cu alloy for a metallic mold for molding is composed of, by weight, 1-5% Be, 0.5-12% Al, 0.5-1% Co, 0.1-1.5% Si and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities. In the composition, the Be and Al contents satisfies a relation represented by a formula Be+1/2Al>=2%. |
