PURPOSE:To perform stable operation of a mechanical snapper, by elastically interposing an intermediate brake between a flywheel and inertia wheel, suppressing resonance appearing in dynamic rigidity of the snapper and reducing a peak in the vicinity of a natural frequency. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate brake 20 is provided between the left side of a flywheel 3 and an inertia wheel 12. For high speed vibration due to an earthquake, etc., a screw rod 6 is oscillated with shuttling at high speed, if the flywheel 3 is rotated with oscillating at high speed, the inertia wheel 12 can not follow up high speed rotary oscillation of the fly wheel 3, and a phase difference between the both rotary oscillations appears to cause a relative motion. Then a friction damping action is caused by the intermediate brake 20 to suppress excessiveness of the relative motion. Accordingly, the intermediate brake 20 is operated effectively to increase damping in the vicinity of the natural frequency of a snapper, and stable dynamic rigidity with a low peak value can be obtained. |
