<p>PURPOSE:To save energy needed for maintenance of the temperature of a battery by surrounding the battery with heat insulators and a heat medium so as to constitute a regenerator, and maintaining the tempersture of the battery by the combinational use of a heater, a cooling pump and solar energy. CONSTITUTION:A heater 2 is provided around a battery 1 which works at high temperature, and heat insulators 3 and 5 and a space 4 which accomodates a heat medium are provided around the heater 2 so as to constitute a regenertor (A). When the temperature of the battery 1 is low, the heater 2 is actuated through a sensor 12 and a control board 13, the heat medium warmed with a solar energy collector 6 is circulated, and electricity is fed through an inverter 14 into a load 16. When the temperature of the battery 1 is high, the heat medium is circulated through a cooling pipe 9 provided around the battery 1 by operating a cooling pump 8 so as to maintain the temperature of the battery 1 properly. As a result, the heat insulation and cooling can be carried out quite efficiently by enabling both the utilization of solar energy and recovery of radiated heat.</p> |
