PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device that can perform feeding operation irrespective of plate width and does not interfere with the die at the time of press working by feeding a sheet material using a gripper specially installed in a feed carrier reciprocated toward inside of a press machine. CONSTITUTION:A guide body 2 along a press machine B is reciprocated in the direction of (a). Three or more grippers, for instance 51-56, are disposed longitudinally at an interval on a feed carrier 4 that can slide back and forth in the longitudinal direction. These movable jaws 12 are rocked in clamping and unclamping directions to fixed jaws by a cylinder 14 and a spring, and the gripper 5 can be moved back and forth freely by a cylinder 7 in the direction of (a). A sheet material A is held by the gripper 5, and the carrier 4 is moved along the guide body 2, and the sheet material A is sent into the machine B. When the gripper 5 arrives at the die interference area L1, a limit switch LS is turned on, and the gripper 5 is moved to a position separated from a die D by the cylinder 7. |
