PURPOSE:To generate a stable arc and obtain good result of welding by calculating i<n>dt from the time when welding current value i exceeded a set value, and terminating the pulse current period when the integration value exceeded a specified value. CONSTITUTION:DC current for which a peak value is set is supplied from a power source 1'. It is supplied to a wire 7 and an object 8 to be welded as pulse current of specified frequency in a switching element 2' by control of a pulse frequency controller 14, a pulse signal generator 18, a driving circuit 6 etc. The output current i is detected by a current detector 11, compared with reference current Ix in an integration circuit 13. From the time when the reference current is exceeded, calculation of i<n>dt (n=arbitrary positive number) is started. When the integration values exceeds setting K of a reference value setting device 16, output of a pulse signal originating circuit 18 is stopped by output of a comparator 17. The integrator 132 is reset by output of the comparator 17. |
