PURPOSE:To punch with high dimensional accuracy while preventing deformation, by a method wherein a soft plate form hydrogel body having a high water content is sealed in a polyethylene bag, is hardened by cooling to a temperature of not higher than -20 deg.C, and a punching operation is completed while the cooling condition is maintained. CONSTITUTION:The soft plate form hydrogel body 1 having a high water content is sealed in the polyethylene bag 2, black circular marks 3-7 are provided on the bag at the parts to be punched out, and the whole is cooled in a cold storage. In this case, the body 1 is cooled to -20 deg.C or below. The parts of the hydrogel body 1 corresponding to the marks 3-7 are punched out together with the bag 2. Accordingly, the hydrogel body which is soft at normal temperature and is easily deformed can be punched with high accuracy without any deformation. Further, adhesion of the hydrogel to the punching die and drying of the adhered hydrogel to obstruct the operation can be prevented. |
