PURPOSE:To make quick drying and hardening of molds added with a water- soluble binder possible by providing a conveying passage for bottom parts between a drying station consisting of a lifting table and a cover member having holes for supplying heated and compressed air and a blowing machine. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air is supplied into a blow head 5 to pack the molding sand in the head 5 into the cavities consisting of a top part 11 and a bottom part 23. In succession, a vertically moving table 3 is moved downward to part the bottom part 23 from the top part 11, and to leave the molding board carriage 18 on a conveying passage 13. Thereafter, the part 23 is lifted together with the carriage 18 and is moved to the position of the drying station right above a table 26, then the table 26 is moved upward to cover the part 23 with a covering member 27 airtightly. Heated and compressed air is supplied from a hot wind generator into the member 27, and the mold 33 on the top surface of the part 23 is dried and hardened. Thereafter, the table 26 is moved downward and the carriage 18 is carried together with the part 23 and the mold 33 to one side of the drying station, where the mold 33 is removed from the part 23. |
