PURPOSE:To make continuous forming of precision formed products possible by providing a vent hole in a die that makes forming products having complicated shape and large plastic deformation and thereby discharging excessive parting agent. CONSTITUTION:A die for press forming is constituted of a female die 1, a male die 2 and an inner die 3. The female die 1 is provided with a die face that forms the outer peripheral face of cylinder wall of a formed product 4. The male die 2 has a die face that is pressed down on the upper part of the die face of the female die 1 to form outer end face of closed face of the formed product 4. The inner die 3 is placed in the female die 1 and provided with a die face that forms the inner peripheral face of cylinder wall, inner end face of closed face and a pillar. Grooves 6 are formed on the bottom of the die face of the inner die 3 and on the contact face of the die 3 with the female die 1. A groove 7 is formed on the lower face of the female die 1. One end of the groove is connected to the groove 6 and another end is opened into atmosphere, and a vent hole 8 that connects the bottom of die face space of the die with atmosphere is formed. At least one through hole may be formed on the inner die 3 and female die 1. |
