PURPOSE:To shorten feeding distance of a bankbook and to avoid ink smudge by a roller, in an inserter journal printer, by providing a visual sensor and a stopper mechanism in a bankbook inserting part. CONSTITUTION:When the sensor 14 detects the state of no bankbook and the like, the stopper 15 is moved by the operation of a plunger magnet 17 in the direction of an arrow B, and a pass way 12 is closed. The journal printing is performed under this state. When the journal printing is finished, the plunger magnet 17 is released, the stopper 15 opens the pass way 12. Therefore, the bankbook is dropped and stopped at a specified position by a rotary driving of rollers R3 and R4. Then the printing is performed. When the printing is finsihed, the bankbook is sent upward by the reverse driving of the rollers R3 and R4 and extruded to the position where it can be taken out. |
