PURPOSE:To enable continous rotation of bottles eliminating the indexing thereof by arranging projector/receiver, a signal processing section and a projector stabilizing power source collectively on a rotary table. CONSTITUTION:Bottles 2 to be inspected are dumped into inspection stages of a rotary table 4. A projector 25 and a light receiver 26 are secured on each inspection stage and so set to monitor the bottles placing the focus at one point in an inspection area 50 of bottle mouthes or the like. A signal processor 100 receives electrical outputs of the light receiver 26 to monitor the signal level thereof starting from the dumping of the bottles 2. As the rotary table 4 rotates, the bottles 2 turn on the rotary table depending on a difference in the coefficient of friction between an outer frame holding member and an internal arm, a spinning thereof which allows the signal processor 100 to monitor the entire circumstance of the bottle mouthes. When the rejected bottle is given in the judgement by the signal processor 100, pulse signal is transmitted to a signal transmitter 103 to transmit a rejection signal. Receiving the signal from the signal transmitter 103, a conveyor control section 102 tracks the rejected bottle and controls a rejection ejecting gate provided on a conveyor 32. |
