PURPOSE:To stabilize the traveling of a tape and to enhance the recording/ reproducing performance, by securing an engagement between a lower cylinder having a taper-shaped hole at the center and an upper cylinder having a taper- shaped shaft and setting an intermediate cylinder between the upper and lower cylinders in a rotatable way. CONSTITUTION:An upper cylinder 1 contains a cylinder face 1a, a cylinder shaft 6 and a taper shaft 7 which are formed into a body and is engaged with a lower cylinder 2 via the shaft 7. The cylinder 1 also holds an intermediate cylinder 3 via the shaft 6 in a rotatable way. The center of shaft is decided by the engaging state between the shaft 7 and a taper hole 2b for the cylinder faces 1a and 2a of the cylinders 1 and 2, respectively. Thus positioning is possible with high accuracy for both cylinders. Accordingly a tape is guided in even contact with the cylinder face to perform stable magnetic recording and reproducing. |
