PURPOSE:To obtain an outer-casing component having metallic gloss by spraying liquid bright gold or a luster onto the surface of inorganic glass or of a metal covered with the inorganic glass and by burning the same. CONSTITUTION:Liquid bright gold or a luster 2 is sprayed onto the surface of cover glass 1 formed of inorganic glass and covered with a mask having a prescribed pattern. Next, this liquid bright gold or the luster 2 is burnt and thereby a metal layer 2 having metallic gloss is formed. Then, prints 3a and 3b are made thereon, and thus the cover glass is finished. By giving characters and patterns prior to the application of the liquid bright gold or the luster by using ink 4 formed of heat-resistant silicone, gradation having metallic gloss or characters and patterns having no metallic gloss can be formed. |
