PURPOSE:To enable improving of firing properties and to enable shortening of a combustion rise time, by a method wherein a toroidal heater is mounted around a fuel oil dispersion port, and an electric heater is covered with a covering material having oil absorption properties. CONSTITUTION:A fuel oil dispersion plate 9 is turned, an ignition plug 25 and a preheater 23 are energized, and liquid fuel is quantitatively supplied through a fuel oil feed nozzle 24. The fuel oil is sprayed and dispersed in the direction of a covering material 21 for an electric heater through a fuel oil dispersion port 5' from a fuel oil dispersion plate 9 via an inner surface of a gasifying cylinder 7 and the outer surface of the gasifying cylinder 7, and is absorbed by the material 21. Simultaneously, the fuel oil is gasified by the heat of the electric heater 23 to generate gas in a combustion chamber 22. The gas, mixed with air jetted through a flame port 15 and the fuel oil dispersion port 15', is fired by the spark discharge of the ignition plug 25 to start a burning. The gasifying cylinder 7 is then increased in temperature by self-burning heat, and this brings a burner into a real gasifying combustion. |
