The building blocks are provided with slit, surface indentations running in a network over the surface parallel to the sides and the flat strip is slid into the slits on facing blocks to connect them according to the parent patent 2121659, in which the flat strip is arched between the ends along its longitudinal axis, but the arched ends are left flat. Pref. the strips are mfd from an elastic material esp. polyamide.
