A coupling valve 11 contains a multiway valve 23, 44, which is connected to a plurality of lines 20, 24, 26 and is designed to selectively permit and prevent the flow between the said lines. The multiway valve contains outer walls 23 made of an essentially ultraviolet- transmitting material, and the outer walls of the multiway valve in particular enclose an elastomer sealing body 44, which defines a rotatable duct section 100, 102 for communication with various lines in different rotational positions. The sealing body 44 also provides rotatable sealing against internal surfaces of the outer walls in order to maintain an antimicrobial sealing of the lines. The duct section 100, 102 is open over its entire length opposite an internal surface of the outer wall, in order to promote the antimicrobial effect of the ultraviolet radiation. <IMAGE> |
