<p>The flower box (1) is fixed to a wall by ribbed angle hangers (8), the fixing adapting to suit walls of various thickness. A wide flange (3) on a box side is raised locally in inverted 'U' formations (4) to form openings (6) for the hangers, each opening locating between the top edge (A) of the adjacent box wall (5) and the raised inside flange edge. Each raised flange element has a tooth (7) on its underside and each hanger has a series of teeth (11) on the external face of one leg (9). The latter leg passes obliquely through the opening, and then is pivoted to the horizontal to be secured by an engagement of its teeth by the box tooth. The other hanger leg may have internal teeth (12) and the box may accommodate a hanger at each end.</p> |
