Process for disposing of a liquid containing a sealing agent

Sealing agents based on methacrylate are used to seal metal surfaces. In order to free the resulting wash water from the sealing agent, the addition of soda is recommended. After the sealing agent flocculates out, there then forms in the wash water a cake of spongy material which hardens to a solid mass after evaporation of the moisture.
