According to the innovation, the unit for determining the inflow quantities of bath water or similar liquids can be used in both a horizontal and a vertical arrangement, without any modification to the commercially available fittings, for bathtub/shower installations with two taps for cold-water inflow and hot-water inflow in each case, for mixer units with only one tap and a cold-water/hot-water mixer lever, and also for the most recent embodiment with only a single lever for simultaneous water inflow and cold/hot adjustment. It is to be emphasised that, in the case of two taps for cold-water inflow and hot-water inflow in each case, independently of the adjustment thereof for the desired inflow quantity and water temperature, automatic turning-off of the taps and thus shutting-off of the water inflow when the desired level of water or similar liquid has been obtained is carried out individually and fundamentally mechanically in the case of all embodiments by simulating the action otherwise carried out manually, such as turning off the taps or pushing down the lever in the case of single-lever bathtub/shower installations.
