Caravan/motor home with a foldable, stable canopy built on laterally and poles and tent walls integrated therein. By virtue of this arrangement, a stable, weather-proof canopy is ensured which, including the poles and tent walls, can be put up and taken down in a quick, uncomplicated and problem-free manner. The necessary poles are movably attached in the canopy and on erecting the canopy automatically fall into their prescribed positions. Likewise, the tent walls, attached movably in a manner such that they cannot be mixed up, fall into their hanging arrangement where they are then joined together by zip fasteners and fixed to the vehicle by press studs or other fixing means. The entire construction makes camping possible in any weather, i.e. also in winter, particularly by virtue of the problem-free, quick erection of the canopy, as a result of which the rigours of the weather can be kept away from the space in front of the vehicle. The stable tent canopy is resistant to loads caused by the weather, in particular snow loads. From the above it is apparent that searching for pole parts is avoided and also that the tent walls assume their positions in a manner such that they cannot be mixed up. <IMAGE>
