PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of charge application to a toner layer on a donor, by making the donor part of pressure conductive rubber. CONSTITUTION:The surface part of a donor roller 1 is made of pressure conductive rubber and when the press-contacting force of a doctor 4 and a multistylus electrode 5 to the surface of the roller 1 is increased, the electric resistance of the roller 1 is decreased, thereby improving the efficiency of charge application to a toner laye. The press-contacting force of a transfer roller 7 to the roller 1 is reduced to increase the electric resistance of the donor roller 1, and consequently no charge having the opposite polarity to a transfer voltage is induced at an image texture part, obtaining an excellent reproduced image. |
