The invention proposes a single-lever mixer fitting with a fixed inlet disc, preferably composed of oxide ceramic, and with a control disc which faces the inlet disc and is likewise preferably composed of oxide ceramic. The special feature is primarily that the control extension of an operating lever mounted by means of a spherical head engages, with two operating studs designed as spherical parts, in a T slot in a guide piece positively connected to the control disc. The advantage with this arrangement is that a large angle of operation of the operating lever is available not only for quantity adjustment but also for temperature adjustment. Measures for simplifying assembly or preassembly are moreover described. <IMAGE>
