Motor vehicle broadcast receiver with an RF interference suppression circuit

A motor vehicle broadcast receiver with RF interference elimination has an interference signal detector which can identify interference signals in the power supply wiring, and a circuit to eliminate RF interference signals. The detector is physically connected to the power supply wiring so that it can satisfactorily identify interference signals therein, for example ignition spark interference signals and switching interference signals of the electric motor vehicle equipment. The interference signal suppression circuit has a normally closed switch which opens in response to the interference signal generated by the interference signal detector, and a capacitor which holds the broadcast signal level while the switch is opened and which discharges the constant-level signal to reproduce broadcast sound.
