PURPOSE:To match a transmitting speed to an information processing speed in such a way that the high-speed property of transmission is minimized by interrupting the information transmission, by performing an arrangement that the retransmission of information is performed only when the information processing speed is slower than the transmission speed. CONSTITUTION:The receiving section of a facsimile is constituted with an input-output section 11, an error controlling section 12, and a character recognizing device OCR section 13, and the input information from the transmitting side is inputted into the input- output section 11. The inputted information is then converted into picture signals of ''0'' and ''1'' by a demodulating circuit 15, a gate circuit 16 and a decoder 17. The picture signals are supplied to the OCR section 13 and the OCR section 13 recognizes characters, symbols, etc. Moreover, at the error controlling section 12 which inputs the receiving data of the circuit 15 and a busy signal from the decoder 17, it is judged whether the information to the input-output section 11 is correct or not. When the information is wrong, a stop signal for convertion function is sent to a backward signal modulating circuit 33 of the controlling section 12, and the retransmission of the information is requested to the transmitting side through the input-output section 11, and thus, the high-speed property of the information transmission is minimized. |
