PURPOSE:To make the test and maintenance for a communication circuit and its relating components easy, by constituting in such a way that the titled antenna is used as a normal antenna at antenna extension, and antenna transmission and receiving terminals are connected to a dummy load at contraction. CONSTITUTION:A free end of a sleeve at the innermost side of a rod antenna main body 10 consisting of a plurality of conductive sleeves combined extendably and contractably is provided with a top metallic screw member 12. A lower end of the outermost sleeve of the main body 10 is provided with a terminal 14 to be connected to an antenna lead and the outer circumference is covered with an outer conductor tube 18. A lower end of the tube 18 is provided with a terminal 20 and an upper end is fitted with a dummy load member 22. A screw member 26 of the member 12 is conducted and latched to a screw 24 of the member 22 at antenna contraction. This member 12 acts like a cap inserted to the member 22 and connects the base 10 electrically to the member 22. |
