PURPOSE:To recover latent heat energy and sensitive heat energy from the exhaust air of the drying room, which has a high temperature and a high humidity, by a method wherein two sets of heat exchangers, recovering the latent heat and the sensitive heat respectively, are provided to heat open air for drying by the exhaust air of the drying room. CONSTITUTION:Moisture in an exhaust air current C, having a high temperature and a high humidity, is discharged in the first heat exchanger 2 into an open air current A through a partitioning plate 10, having a special structure utilizing a paper, a cloth or a porous synthetic resin material to which a moisture adsorbing substance such as lithium chloride or the like is impregnated and adhered, and thus the latent heat of evaporation of the moisture is given to the exhaust air current C. As a result, the temperature of the exhaust air current C at the outlet side of the first heat exchanger becomes higher than the same of the exhaust air current C at the inlet side of the first heat exchanger, and then the current C is supplied to the second heat exchanger 3. Accordingly, another open air current B is heated in the second heat exchanger 3 by the sensitive heat of the exhaust air current C and the temperature thereof becomes higher, thereafter, said current B is sent into the drying room 1. According to this method, the moisture contained in the exhaust air is not recovered but the heat energy due to the latent heat may be recovered. |
