PURPOSE:To forecast sea weather conditions quickly and accurately without any accident and uselessness of work ships, by analyzing received informations and observed values of observation instruments at a point scheduled for construction. CONSTITUTION:As for materials of judgement for forecasting of board sea weather conditions including a specific sea region, a weather map on ground, a weather map at high altitude, a sea condition map, and an adiabatic map obtained from a radio teletypewriter and a radio facsimile, and as for materials of judgement for forecasting of sea weather at a narrow region of the specific sea region, the observation values of observation instruments for sea weather conditions installed at the specific sea region, are transmitted to a forecasting center installed on the land of a coast with a telemetory for analysis. Overall judgement is made for each material and the statistical arrangement of the quantitative correlation of the previous forecast values and the observed values is performed, allowing to analyze in terms of pattern the sea weather conditions in a narrow area of the specific sea region and perform the forecast of sea weather condition. |
