PURPOSE:To automatically retransmit an original in the initial transmitting order, by separately storing originals which cannot be sent to destinations from those which can be sent to the destinations. CONSTITUTION:An original 1 placed on an original placing plate 5 is carried to a telephone number reading section 3 by means of rollers 2a and 2b, and read by the called telephone number reading section 3. The telephone number is added to a controlling section 13 after it is recognized by a recognizing section 11, and a switchboard 12 and the recognizing section 11 are connected to each other by the controlling section 13. Moreover, the recognizing section 11 discriminates a signal tone from the switchboard 12 and adds a signal regarding the possibility of connection to the controlling section 13. After the possibility of the connection is judged, the original 1 is sent to an original reading section 4, and, when the connection is possible, the information obtained by reading the original 1 is transmitted and the original 1 is stored on an original placing plate 6. When the connection is not possible, a solenoid 9 is driven by sending a signal to a solenoid driving section 15, and the original 1 which cannot be sent is stored on an original placing plate 7 in the original transmitting order by opening a taking-out port. |
