PURPOSE:To facilitate the carrying-in to and execution at sites of the large- sized flexible membrane weir by mutually bonding a plurality of flexible membrane weir sections divided and formed extending over the longitudinal direction of the flexible membrane weir integrally at sites. CONSTITUTION:Rubber sheets 2 and reinforcing materials 18 are produced at factories, folded back properly and carried up to the site to be executed. The joining end edges of the rubber sheets 2 are mutually butted, adhesives are applied, the reinforcing materials 18 are pressed, and each rubber sheet 2 is mutually unified. Nose projections 3 in several joining section of the rubber sheets 2 are clamped and connected by means of reinforcing metal fittings 5 consisting of push pieces 6, 7. A hold-down fitting 22 is placed on the end section at the upper stream side of the ruber weir 1 produced in this manner, and the rubber weir 1 is fixed by means of anchor bolts studded to riverbed concrete 19. The rubber weir 1 can easily be carried into the site by dividing and shaping it. |
