PURPOSE:To obtain excellent directive characteristics, by providing a coupling circuit and a short-circuit line between taper lines provided on the external circumference of a circular conductor. CONSTITUTION:A microstrip type lens pattern is formed on one side of a dielectric substance base 10. This lens pattern is formed with a circular conductor 11a, a beam terminal 11b, a taper line 11c provided radially, and conductors provided among adjacent lines 11c and consists of a coupling circuit 12 isolated from the lines 11c and a short-circuit libe 13. In the electromagnetic lens, assuming the terminal #0, e.g., as an input terminal, the coupling level at the adjacent #1 terminal is increased by detouring and reflection of electromagnetic waves. The level of the #1 output terminal, however, is zero, when a component coupled with adjacent terminals from the taper line of the input terminal via the circuit 12 and the line 13 comes in, the component is equal to the reflected component and the phase difference is 180 deg.. Thus, excellent directive characteristics can be obtained. |
