<p>There are provided pyrazole derivatives of general formula wherein R1 represents a phenyl, pyridyl or naphthyl group optionally substituted by one or more substituents selected from halogen, cyano, amino, and mono- and di-(C1-4 alkyl)-amino; R2 represents a phenyl group, a fluorophenyl group or a C1-6 alkyl group optionally substituted by a (C1-6 alkoxy)carbonyl group; and R3 represents a methyl or ethyl group, excluding 3-pheny1-5-methylthio-1-phenyl-pyrazole; methods for their preparation; compositions containing them and their use as pesticides. Compounds of formula I exbibit pesticidal, especially acarid ovicidal, activity.</p> |
