PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device which is small-sized and also is capable of displaying a visible imge and recording on recording paper continuously, by irradiating polarized light to a magnetized distribution image formed on a magnetic recording medium consisting of a magnetic recording belt, converting it to a visible image through an analyzer, developing it by a toner, etc., and transferring and fixing it on the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:In case of displaying a visible image, a magnetic recording medium 11 of a magnetic recording belt 1 is uniformly magnetized by a bias magnetic field generator 4. Subsequently, said magnetic recording medium 11 is heated partially and selectively in the neighborhood of a temperature of a curie point or a compensating point by a thermal head 2 in accordance with an input picture signal, andmagnetization of its part is lost once. Subsequently, when cooling it, the direction of magnetization of said part is reversed by influence of the magnetic field of the adjacent part. As a result, on the magnetic recording medium 11, an image of magnetized distribution corresponding to the input picture signal is obtained. When polarized light obtained through a lens 7 and a polarizer 5 from a light source 3 is irradiated on the magnetic recording belt 1, an image of light and darkness is obtained. After that, development is performed by making a toner adhere onto the magnetic recording belt 1. |
