发明名称 MEASURING METHOD FOR GRASPING FORCE OF WIRE CLAMP
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable improving of a measuring precision through direct detection of a grapsing force for an electric wire, by a method wherein a head is inserted into a wire grasping surface of a wire clamp so that it corsses the axial line of the grasping surface at right angles, and a strain gauge is attached to the outer surface of the head. CONSTITUTION:Collars 24, 24, matching a size of a wire grasping surface of a wire clamp 3, are attached to a head 18 of a detector, and the head 18 with the collars is inserted into the wire grasping surface so that it meets the axial line of the grasping surface at right angles. A position of a positioning plate is adjusted so that it abuts on to the end surface of the wire clamp when the head 16 is positioned at the center of the wire grasping surface, and the plate is then secured by means of a cross screw. If, with this, two jaws 34A and 34B of the wire clamp are tightened by a bolt 36, a wire grasping force, corresponding to the tightening torque, is detected by a stai gauge 12 and is indicated by an indicating means 14.
