In accordance with the present invention, a new and improved center weatherstrip is provided. The weatherstrip comprises a resilient base portion of a substantially L-shaped section, a resilient lip portion and a substantially rigid core member embedded in the base portion. The weatherstrip enables to attain a refined appearance as well as an assured seal for a vehicle body.
