<p>PURPOSE:To enable efficient anaerobic treatment while controlling the generation of a mold anaerobe without decreasing the treating load by adjusting the sugar load of org. waste water to less than a specified value, and then anaerobically treating the waste water. CONSTITUTION:The sugar load of org. waste water is adjusted to <=0.5g/gVSS, and then the waste water is anaerobically treated. The sugar load adjustment is appropriately carried out by pretreating the waste water of a main reaction vessel for forming methane to decompose the sugar component into org. acids. The bulking due to the propagation of a mold anaerobe can be prevented at the time of anaerobic treatment by this method, and the operation can be stably carried out in an anaerobic treating device by fluidized-bed, sludge blanket, and activated sludge processes. By this process, even the waste water which had to be treated under reduced load to avoid bulking can be treated under high load conditions, and the treatment efficiency is enhanced.</p> |
