PURPOSE:To prevent dust from entering a magnetic sheet cassette by providing a blocking member energized to cover the opening part on the side surface of the cassette, and engaging it with the engaging member of a magnetic disk device when the magnetic cassette is loaded, then opening the opening part. CONSTITUTION:On the side surface of a magnetic sheet cassette 1 which contains a magnetic sheet 2, choking members 6 and 6 energized in such directions that a head window 4, a center hole 3 and the opening part of an index window 5 are choked invariably, are provided. When the cassette 1 is loaded, those members 6 and 6 engage the engaging member 10 provided to a magnetic disk device to rotate in such directions that said opening part is exposed. Consequently, dust is prevented from entering the cassette. |
