PURPOSE:To prevent jamming of sheets, miscopying or the like from occurring, by a method wherein a space is provided between the downstream end part of a conveying passage of the first conveying part and the upstream end part of a conveying passage of the second conveying part, and only the sheet having predetermined stiffness is selected and conveyed from the first to the second conveying part. CONSTITUTION:The space is provided between the first conveying guide 4 and the second conveying guide 5. The transverse width d of the second guide 5, the angles of the guides 4, 5 againt a horizontal plane and the length of the space are so designed that only the sheet having nerve appropriate for a duplicator can be conveyed to a transfer part. When the sheet is too stiff 61, this condition is detected by a photosensor, a micro-switch or other detecting means, and the rotation of feed rollers 3 is stopped. On the other hand, when the sheet is too flexible 62, this condition is detected by the detecting means and the rollers 3 are controlled. |
