PURPOSE:To enable the use of a device irrespective of the presence of perforations and to improve general-purpose properties and maneuverability, by constituting a feeder for a duplicating device such that a sprocket wheel for a perforated paper, a feed roller, and a press roller are switchably mounted. CONSTITUTION:If moved to a perforated paper side with a lever 5 operated, projections 3a on a sprocket wheel engage perforations in the perforated paper. Then, a gear 9 gears a gear 11, and the perforated paper is conveyed with the sprocket wheel 3 turned. Then, a gear 10 for a feed roller 10 does not gear. If moved to a non-perforated paper side with the lever 5 operated, the feed roller 6 moves to the side of a paper guide plate and a press means 8, the sprocket wheel 3 is detached, and the paper is held between the nip formed by the feed roller 6 and the press roller 8. Then, the gear 10 gears a drive gear 11, and the gear 9 is released from gearing. This permits the use of a device irrespective of the presence of the perforations and the improvement of general- purpose properties. |
