<p>PURPOSE:To access longitudinal or lateral succeeding data of two-dimensional data at a high speed, by connecting a data processing part and respective memory units in series through high-speed shift registers. CONSTITUTION:This storage device consists of a controller 100, memory units 200-203, and shift registers 300-303 which transfer access data between those memory units and controller 100 in series at a high speed. The controller 100 is inputted an access section signal, an access-direction section signal, and control signals for X and Y coordinates showing the starting coordinates of access, and read data and data to be written are outputted and inputted through signal lines 800 and 900 respectively.</p> |
