PURPOSE:To elevate contrast of a transmitted picture, by constituting so that light is not made incident from a clad part. CONSTITUTION:A picture transmission line I formed by bundling a plurality of optical fiber strands 1 being in a row state is stored in a metallic sleeve 4. To the tip part of the metallic sleeve 4, a cylindrical mask adaptor 5 is installed, and to its tip, a mask 6 is stuck. This mask 6 has such size as has expanded an incident end face 7 of the picture transmission line I, and also is formed so as to drop the transmittivity of a part 8 which is not contributed to picture transmission in the incident end face 7. In this picture transmission line, incident light to go into a clad part is absorbed by the nontransmission part 8 on the mask 6, only incident light to go into a core part passes through the transmission part of the mask 6, is projected by a lens 11, and is made incident to the core part on the incident end face 7. |
