PURPOSE:To arrange an elongate article in neat order without twisting, by rotating a guide member alternately in opposite directions at each of turning- back points of an oscillating motion of a guide cylinder for the article having a continuous length in a device whereby an elongate article such as continuous length rubber hose is aligned while reversing both side parts. CONSTITUTION:The guide cylinder 4 through which a flexible article G having a continuous length is continuously ejected downwardly is oscillated in a direction orthogonal to the moving direction of the article G by operating an oscillating device. At each of the turning-back points 41, 42 of the oscillating motion, a motor 7a fitted to the cylinder 4 is rotated alternately in forward and reverse directions so that the guide member 6 having a ?-shaped lower part and fitted to the ejecting part of the cylinder 4 is rotated alternately in opposite directions at each of the points 41, 42 through gears 7b, 6a. Accordingly, the falling direction of the article G is always maintained in the same direction without exerting any excessive force on the article G, and the article G is automatically arranged continuously at a predetermined width without twisting the article G. |
