PURPOSE:To convey a mat bed on a roller conveyor, by moving linearly an upper surface press bar normal to the conveyor rollers by meshing the rack secured on the upper part of the upper surface press bar with a pinion. CONSTITUTION:When by retracting a fluid cylinder 10, a rack guide 11 is positioned over, and the rack 19 is positioned in the rear of the rack guide 11, a mat bed 1 shown by the broken line is supplied on the backward conveyor rollers 2. After the mat bed 1 is positioned with the one side edge thereof registered with a straight ruler, when the fluid cylinder 10 is pushed forward, the rack guide 11 is lowered, and by the upper surface press bar 22 below it, the mat bed 1 and the conveyor rollers 2 are pushed down. Then by driving a driving shaft 18, the pinion 14 is rotated, the rack 19 is moved forward straight in a direction shown by an arrow P, and the clamped mat bed 1 is also delivered straight in the direction shown by the arrow P correctly. |
