If, after the normal time taken for the carriage to convey the currency note W from the loading position to the testing position, plus a safety period, the carriage has not arrived at the testing position to de-energize the timer circuit, the latter actuates a contactor 22 to reverse the motor contacts 24 and the motor 21 to return the jammed carriage to the loading position. |
