<p>A small, compact, fold-up three-wheel cart (carriage, bogie) which can be used to support a punctured or damaged wheel of a vehicle while the latter is being driven to a place of repair. The cart has a fold-up ramp which rests directly on the ground while the rear wheels are in a slightly raised position, so that it prevents the cart moving while the deflated tyre is being carried above it. As the ramp pivots upwards to a retention position behind the tyre, the rear wheels are lowered into a position of contact with the ground. Simultaneously, an extension connected to the ramp causes a retention member near the front of the cart to pivot upwards away from the path of the wheel to a front retention position. After mounting, the tyre rests in a cradle and is unable to move forwards or backwards with respect to the cart.</p> |
