PURPOSE:To improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency and the weather withstandability, by forming a melo-cyanine coloring matter high molecular compound layer on an n type semiconductor performing the ohmic contact with the metal on the substrate while forming the metallic layer on it. CONSTITUTION:A melo-cyanine coloring matter high molecular compound layer 4 is p-n jointed on an n type semiconductor 3 performing the ohmic contact with the metal 2 on a substrate 1. Furthermore a layer 4 is contacted with the facing electrode or a metal 5. In such a photoconductive converter, the light 8 is irradiated from below through a substrate 1, metal 2 and a semiconductor 3 to the joint between the semiconductor 3 and the layer 4. Consequently the power can be taken out from the facing electrodes or the metals 5 and 2 through the power take-out lines 6, 7. |
