PURPOSE:To perform an abundant expression of characters, by generating a selected figure pattern from a figure pattern generator and delivering the figure pattern after adding it to a character pattern generated from a character pattern generator. CONSTITUTION:A desired pattern is selected through a keyboard and then fed with anindication, and a CPU1 leads out a control signal BC to validate an AND gate G2 and at the same time to feed a character code to a character pattern generator 2. The generator 2 actuate a dot counter of a 24-notation counter 4 and a row counter of an 9-notation counter 5 synchronously with a clock signal CL supplied from a printer 3. Thus a prescribed figure pattern selected through a figure pattern generator 6 is led to a gate G1 from a gate G2 and superposed on a character pattern to be fed to the printer 3. |
