PURPOSE:To obtain a cell housing case with a thin thickness by pinching a cell between a case and a cover and by deforming it under pressure so that cell terminals, the case, and the cover are pressed into contact by means of the revovery resilience to obtain electric conductivity. CONSTITUTION:A cell 9 is pinched between a conductive case 10 with a recess deeper in depth than the thin type cell 9 and smaller in area than the circumference of the cell 9, and the cell 9 is housed in the case 10 by applying pressures from above and below. Then, cell terminals, the case 10, and the cover 11 are pressed into contact by means of the recovery resilience due to the flexibility of the cell 9, and electricity is extracted from the case 10 and the cover 11. Accordingly, no spring is required to get into contact with cell terminals under pressure, thereby the thickness can be made extremely thin. |
