In order to utilise steel sections (8) in the ceiling joist (3) of framed rafters in 1 1/2-storey houses without giving rise to thermal bridges and to maintain an unbroken vapour barrier around the eaves (7), the ceiling joists (3) are terminated in both their ends with scantling (4), which is inserted into the metal beam (8). Corbelled out bags (5) of plastic sheeting have previously been threaded onto the inserted end of the scantling (4). The corbelling (6) is then connected gas-tight against the plastic sheeting (11) on the insides (10) of the walls.<IMAGE> |
